Stated several times throughout the movie. At one point, Captain Miller (Tom Hanks) finds a soldier named Private James Ryan, but quickly learns that it isn't James *Francis* Ryan -- he's got the wrong man.

7. Jake Briggs (Kevin Bacon) from 1988's 'She's Having a Baby.'

Jake's full name is Jefferson Edward Briggs, as we learn when his wife Kristy (Elizabeth McGovern) screams his full name in frustration in an attempt to get him into the bedroom for procreative purposes, as her temperature is *just* right. =)
