Laura Linney lost the Best Actress Oscar of 2001 to Julia Roberts for "Erin Brokovich" as did Juliette Binoche from "Chocolat". Laura Linney also stars in "The Mothman Prophecies" from 2002. Ewan McGregor stars in "Nora" about James Joyce and his wife.

The title comes from a joke in the film "What is the difference between a bus and a bottle of marbles?" The answer being that a bus will take you downtown and a bottle of marbles you can throw out your office window to kill yourself, taking you waydowntown.

"Ten Tiny Love Stories" is another film by Rodrigo Garcia, "The Girl in Hyacinth Blue" is a Glenn Close movie, and "Goodnight Lilly, Goodnight Christine" is the title of my favourite story within "Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her".
