Answer: Little America

The name "Little America" is seen on screen as an exterior shot of the colony is shown on the lunar landscape. The opening scenes of the movie are set in the year 2080, also seen on the screen. The rest of the movie is set in the year 2087 (85 years after the movie was released).

Answer: Polkas

We see Anthony Frankowski (the club owner, played by Jay Mohr) performing part of a polka while playing an accordion. Interestingly he also has adopted the persona of a "Scottish crooner" as he is wearing a kilt. Shots of the club's interior show it to be almost empty.

When Anthony hands Pluto a glass of beer, Pluto sees that the unwashed glass is still stained with lipstick from a previous user. Pluto suggests to Anthony that he remodel himself as an "Italian crooner" and he renames himself Tony Francis.

Answer: Rosario Dawson

Rosario Dawson portrays Dina Lake. An aspiring singer from Salt Lake, she has traveled to the Moon in hopes of securing a gig. When that falls through, she tries to earn enough money for a flight back to Earth. Pluto offers her a job at the club as a server to earn the money for a ticket.

While the other three actress also appear in the film, in each case it is different roles. Rosario Dawson, the actress, has also appeared in many other movies including "Men in Black II" (2002) and "Rent" (2005).

She has also been involved in various philanthropic causes such as "More Than Footprints" and "Doctors Without Borders".

Answer: Hillary Clinton

The $10,000 bills have a portrait of Hillary Clinton and are referred to by Pluto Nash as "Hillaries". When Pluto meets with representatives of Rex Crater who are attempting to purchase Pluto's club, they hand him a stack of the bills. Later in the film, when attempting to thank someone who has helped him, Pluto Nash hands the bills saying "Take these Hillaries."

Answer: Wood

While holding the vandal on the ground, Pluto tells him that the barstools were made of wood asking rhetorically if he knows how hard it is to get wood on the moon. Unlike some other parts of the film, this actually makes sense. Wood does not exist naturally on the Moon.

It probably would have been brought from the Earth via an expensive space flight. (As to that flight being expensive, remember that Dina Lake needs to get a job to earn the money for her return flight to Earth.)

Answer: Garden of Paradise

We see the name "Garden of Paradise" on the exterior of the hotel. After a brief check-in scene, we next see Dina Lake and Pluto Nash in a room where Dina says "So this is the Garden of Paradise?" in a town that suggest it's not quite that, though the hotel room at least seems reasonably comfortable. Accompanying Dina and Pluto is Bruno, Pluto's bodyguard. Bruno (played by Randy Quaid) is seated in a chair in the room and is plugged into a wall, presumably recharging.

Answer: Peter Boyle

Peter Boyle portrayed the detective, now retired. He is wearing a floral print shirt and meets with Pluto at a pool hall. The two are playing a game during their conversation. Rowland is able to give Pluto Nash some information about Rex Crater, the mysterious man who wants to buy Pluto's club. The other three actors also appeared in the film, but in different roles.

Answer: They are shown highly muscular bodies.

Illeana Douglas portrays Dr. Mona Zimmer, operator of the clinic. Pluto Nash implies to the doctor that he and Dina Lake are in a romantic relationship. While the initial image shows the two as slightly taller, it is a matter a few inches rather than several feet. Pluto shows interested in seeing what Dina would like with enhanced breasts and butt. Dr. Zimmer is convinced to make significant alterations to the hologram, which displeases Dina. Ultimately, however, they do not have any actual plastic surgery on their bodies while at the clinic.

Answer: Pluto's mother

Pam Grier portrays Flura, Pluto's mother. Dina unintentionally compliments her appearance saying she thought she was Pluto's sister. Flura has come to convince Pluto to leave the Moon in order to get out of danger. She also mentions that he should be nicer to Bruno the android. Pluto accuses Bruno of complaining to his mother to which the android only smiles. Soon they will be ambushed by Rex Craster's agents, forcing Pluto and the others to flee again.

Answer: He is a hologram.

John Cleese portrays James, the holographic chauffeur. The design of the limousine is somewhat interesting with a large door that opens at the rear of the vehicle through which Pluto, Dina, and Bruno enter. James the chauffeur recognizes that they are not the owners of the vehicle and attempts to resist. he is seemingly intimidated by a large laser gun which Bruno pulls out and points towards him.

The limousine then drives off.
