When Anthony hands Pluto a glass of beer, Pluto sees that the unwashed glass is still stained with lipstick from a previous user. Pluto suggests to Anthony that he remodel himself as an "Italian crooner" and he renames himself Tony Francis.

Rathbone was probably best remembered for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in many movies. Bing Crosby did practically all of the voices in his half of the picture. Of course, Crosby sang and did most of the sound effects too. But because he provided all of the entertainment in this story, it is my favorite of the two parts to this film.
