Ultron vs. Avengers - "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Quiz

Answer: Captain America

Captain America confronts Baron von Strucker as the Avengers close in on Loki's scepter. But, before he can capture him, he is knocked down a flight of stairs by the Scarlet Witch. Meanwhile, Pietro (Quicksilver) tangles with Hawkeye. Then, Iron Man finds the scepter, and Wanda shows Iron Man a vision of the world being destroyed by the Chitauri from the first movie, while the rest of the Avengers are dead.

Answer: Captain America

All of the Avengers (except Black Widow) try to move Thor's hammer. Captain America is the only one that can make it budge. This causes Thor to worry, but then Steve lets go, and Thor goes back to being cocky about the fact that no one can lift it.

Hawkeye is the first to try, and he can't make it move.

Tony Stark then tries, using his own strength, his Iron Man suit, and even has James Rhodes help him, but nothing works.

Bruce Banner tries to lift it unsuccessfully, then yells as though he is going to turn into Hulk. Although, Hulk can't lift the hammer either, as evidenced in the first "Avengers" movie.

Thor then twirls the hammer and says simply, "You're all not worthy."

Answer: Killing someone

When Ultron confronts the Avengers, he tells them that he killed "the other guy". This is referring to J.A.R.V.I.S, but the Avengers don't figure that out until later. He tells them that he regretted it, but he didn't feel as though he had a choice in the matter.

Answer: A red hood

Ultron hides himself in a red hood when he first meets the twins, a nod at his "Crimson Cowl" disguise in the comics. He then turns around, revealing himself to be a robot. The three of them then form an alliance based around their hatred for Tony Stark.

Answer: Cuttlefish

When Wanda tries to plant fear in Ulysses's mind, he tells her that cuttlefish terrify him. He claims to have watched a documentary about them, and that it left him terrified of the creatures. Ultron then comes into the picture, and eventually cuts Klaue's arm off, causing him to run away.

Answer: Hawkeye

Wanda gets Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow. Captain America has a vision of Peggy Carter at the dance that he promised her in "Captain America: The First Avenger". This obviously leaves him reeling, as he was unable to actually live out that event. Thor has a vision of Heimdall and the rest of Asgard falling. Black Widow is forced to relive her experiences in the Red Room, where she was trained to be a spy.

Hawkeye uses one of his electric arrows on Wanda, making a joke about not wanting his mind messed with again. This is a reference to the first "Avengers" movie, where he is controlled by Loki for the majority of the film.

Answer: Captain America

Tony swears for what is the first spoken word in the movie. Captain America immediately scolds him, saying "language". This becomes an ongoing joke against Steve for the rest of the film.

Answer: Chopping wood

The tractor needing to be fixed is just a way for Nick Fury to dramatically reveal himself to Tony in the barn. But, before Tony goes to fix the tractor, he and Steve are chopping wood. Steve has a much bigger pile than Tony, who warns Steve not to steal any of his wood while he is fixing the tractor.

Answer: "walk it off"

The Avengers are scrambling to contain the robots to the city, and try to save all of the people. Captain America, being the leader, gives them the pep talk that they all need. This line goes to show that every single one of them are invaluable, and not one of them could afford to be killed.

Answer: She tears out Ultron's metal heart.

Wanda is devastated at the loss of her brother, Pietro. She uses the rage that she has to kill the Ultron robot that is made of Vibranium by ripping out his heart. Telling him, "It felt like that," she believes that she too is going to die in the wreckage of the city. But Vision flies in and saves her. The two then fly away.

Answer: Thor

The Avengers begin fighting about whether or not they should bring another AI to life. Tony thinks that it will save them, but Steve and the twins feel as though it will add to the problem. Pietro pulls the plug on Vision's pod, assuming that it would keep him gone for good. Then, Thor flies in and provides the power for Vision using electricity.

Answer: Vision

Vision and the final Ultron bot have a conversation about humanity. They both agree that humanity is flawed, but they disagree on how they should be handled. Ultron thinks they need to destroy them, and Vision wants to protect them. Ultron claims that Vision is naive, which prompts Vision to joke that he "was only born yesterday". Enraged, Ultron flies at Vision, and Vision uses the mind stone to destroy the robot.

Answer: Hulk

Hulk never changes back to Bruce Banner, leaving everyone behind at the end of the film. He is not seen again until the events of "Thor: Ragnarok", which is nearly two years later. This makes Natasha sad, as she and Bruce had been growing closer throughout the events of this movie.

Answer: Pietro

This is a sad nod to the fact that Pietro sacrificed himself to save Clint at the end of the film. Throughout the entire movie, Hawkeye and Pietro had a great back-and-forth that began with the two being enemies, but ended as friends. They had some great dialogue between the two of them, and it was sad that it had to end in the death of Pietro.

Clint's son's first name is Nathaniel. Halfway through the movie, when the Avengers visit, Natasha reminds them that they are naming the child after her. Laura tells her that it is unfortunately Nathaniel now, not Natasha, as they learn that the baby is a boy.

Answer: Thanos

At the end of the movie, tired of not making any progress in his search for the Infinity Stones, Thanos opens up a vault and dons his gauntlet. "Fine, I'll do it myself," says the Mad Titan. This is a foreshadowing to the events that are about to take place in "Avengers: Infinity War".
