Camp Blue Finch was in an isolated campground in the woods. It was centered around a lake. The staff of the camp all arrived early to help get the camp ready for the incoming children. The promo for the film also introduced us to the cast of the 1986 film. There are several clichéd characters, for example the over sexed jock, the quiet shy girl, and the survivor or in this case the final girl.

The film within the film "Camp Bloodbath" had so many similarities to the original "Friday the 13th" film from 1980. It too was set in an isolated camp in the woods. The film even used the same eerie sound from the "Friday the 13th" film series. The killer in "Camp Bloodbath" however was not a woman, but he was a man bent on getting revenge.

Answer: Nancy

We first saw Nancy in the back of Kurt's yellow Volkswagen bus. She was waking up from a nap she had been taking. Kurt along with Tina and Nancy were headed to Camp Blue Finch for their summer jobs. Nancy was the shy girl in the film. She kept describing herself throughout the film as the girl with the clipboard and guitar. Nancy had made herself a promise that she would lose her virginity while at Camp Blue Finch. Kurt was the guy she was going to make love to the first time.

Malin Akerman played the role of Amanda Cartwright and the role of Nancy in the film within the film "Camp Bloodbath". Amanda was not proud of all the things she had done in life, but she was super proud of her daughter. Max seemed to be more of the adult of the pair. She was talking to her mom about how they were going to pay their monthly bills. Amanda took the bills Max was holding and threw them out the car window.

Amanda had just left an audition for an acting job. Max saw how dejected Amanda looked as she walked toward the car. Amanda told Max the casting director had recognized her from the film "Camp Bloodbath" and wished she had never done the film at all. Amanda then suggested the two go to their favorite diner to eat. As Amanda drove to the diner, the song "Bette Davis Eyes" came on the radio. She started lip synching the song for her daughter. Max was reluctant at first even calling her mom a dork at one point. Max finally started to sing the song with her mom.

"Bette Davis Eyes" was a song performed by Kim Carnes in 1981. It was the most popular song of that year. It won two Grammy Awards in 1982. The song was originally recorded in 1974 by Jackie DeShannon.

Answer: M&M's

Max had agreed to go see both part one and two of the film "Camp Bloodbath". She was bribed to see the film by her best friend's brother, Duncan. He was a member of the fan club for the film. He told her he would do all her assignments in her Classics class if she went and saw the films. The showing of the movie was on the three year anniversary of Amanda's death. Amanda had died in a car accident while Max was in the car. Gertie agreed to go see the films with Max to help her get through it. Gertie was Max's best friend and Duncan's step sister.

Christopher had showed up unexpectedly to also support Max. He told her he would get some popcorn and mix it with M&M's. Chris told Max it would be like a little suspense with each handful of popcorn they ate. The friends sat down in the theater to watch the film. We saw Christopher start to pour the candy into the popcorn. He was smiling as Max watched him mix the candy and popcorn.

M&M's were the invention on Frank Mars. They were first distributed in 1941. There are many varieties of this popular candy including peanut and pretzel. Frank Mars got the idea for M&M's from the candy Smarties.

Answer: They thought the exit was behind the movie screen.

One of the patrons of the film had brought in an alcoholic beverage. The man handed the alcohol to his friend who dropped the bottle. The bottle rolled down the aisle spilling out its contents. Another patron of the movie was smoking a cigarette. The lit ashes of the cigarette fell to the floor igniting the alcohol on the floor. The whole theater was in flames and all the exits were blocked. Max asked Duncan if there was an exit behind the screen. Duncan was the assistant manager of the cinema. He confirmed there was indeed an exit behind the screen.

Max had picked up a machete one of the movie goers had dropped. She led her friends to the stage where she used the machete to cut an opening in the movie screen. As Max cut the screen, a bright white light appeared behind her. The friends entered the hole in the screen thinking it was an exit. Max along with her friends found themselves in the film "Camp Bloodbath".

Answer: Strawberries

Duncan was in heaven and was overjoyed to be a part of his favorite film. Vicki, Max, Gertie, and Christopher did not share in his enthusiasm. The friends were discussing ways to get out of the film when Mimi walked behind them. She asked if anyone wanted to help her pick strawberries. Kurt, the over sexed jock, made a crude remark about her breasts. Mimi headed into the woods alone to pick her berries.

While Mimi was in the woods, she met a hiker on a trail while she was looking for berries. The hiker startled Mimi making her gasp. Mimi and the hiker hit it off right away. The two started making out almost instantly. Mimi turned around to primp for a few minutes. The killer crushed the head of the hiker while Mimi's back was turned. The killer then picked up and choked Mimi. He picked her lifeless body up and threw it. The body landed directly in front of Max and her friends. They had been in the woods looking for Kurt's car keys. The five friends stayed and witnessed the death of Mimi and the hiker.

Answer: He was hit on the side by a flying machete.

Duncan had told the friends to stop running because the killer was not after them. He told them they were not a part of the film so they would be safe. The killer was in fact standing behind Duncan and did not move. Duncan even went as far to taste the blood of Mimi. Her dead body was lying right in front of him. He thought it would actually be corn syrup. He was dismayed to find it was really blood. The killer then walked up behind Duncan and just stood there.

The killer stared at Duncan for several seconds and then walked away. Everyone started laughing because they thought Duncan was correct. As Duncan was talking, a flying machete hit him in the side. His friends ran off scared because they believed the killer was coming after them.

Answer: Chris had two fathers.

The group of friends realized that everyone who had sex in the film died. They decided to pair up with a counselor and prevent this from happening. Chris was assigned to Kurt while Max got Nancy. The two guys were sitting outside on a picnic table looking at an adult magazine. Kurt was looking at the pictures and Christopher was trying to discourage him.

He told him that the magazine had a lot of great articles too. Kurt then asked if Chris was gay in a very rude way. Chris then told Kurt his dads were gay. Kurt did not believe him, he said two guys couldn't have a child.

He then stated all gay men do are go to discos.

Answer: Cassette Tape

Tina asked Vicki what was up with this cassette - it had no holes in it. She even tried to put it in the tape deck of her radio. Vicki told her it was her phone. Tina then discovered Vicki's prescription for Adderall. Vicki told Tina that was not for her. Tina then put her headphones on and started dancing as Vicki walked away.

Tina was the free spirit of the group of counselors. She was also the most energetic of the group. Vicki was paired with Tina to keep her from dying in the film within the film. Vicki was unsuccessful in keeping Tina alive. Tina was killed when she was pushed face first into a bear trap.

Answer: napping

Blake was gathering firewood for the slumber party. Gertie had run into him. Blake asked Gertie where she got the button she was wearing. She told him she had made it while visiting her prison pen pal at a convention. Blake then asked where Duncan was. Gertie told Blake her brother was napping.

She then heard a twig break in the distance and suggested that they leave. It was clear Blake and Gertie really liked one another. Gertie however was very distraught over the death of her step brother. She pretended not to love him, but deep down she did.

She was not sure how she would tell their parents he was dead.
