6. (2002) I am Detective Will Dormer, and I have never thought of myself as a bad cop. But when I accidentally shot and killed my partner while investigating a murder in Alaska, I let people think that it was the killer who had done it. We were in pursuit of the killer when the shooting occurred, and the fog and my exhaustion contributed to the accident. In all honesty, I have to question just how accidental the shooting really was, since his death left him unable to testify against me in another case back home. Could I really be that evil?
7. (1989) My name is James Court, and for years I have had the pleasure of raising my beautiful and brilliant daughter pretty much on my own. I have also run a nursing home, and have given those people more care and love than any of their family members ever did. So I really didn't see that what I was doing was theft. Why should their families get their money when they died, when they never cared for them the way that I did? Besides, the money I took really wasn't for me...it was for my daughter.
8. (2005) I don't need to give you my name, I wouldn't know which one to use any way. I was a good man, a Jedi Knight who used my power for good. But the vision of my beloved wife dying in childbirth led me to seek the power to stop that vision from becoming reality. Ironically, in embracing the Dark Side, I caused my beloved wife to turn away from me and to despair, thus making the promise of the dream a reality.
9. (1948) My name is Brandon Shaw. As an experiment in the rights of the intellectually superior to kill those not as worthy, my friend Philip and I strangled our acquaintance David. To further display how superior we were, we then gave a party while David's body was concealed in a chest in the room where the party was held. Both David's father and his fiancée were at the party, as well as our old professor, Rupert Cadell, who figured out what we'd done.
10. (1994) My name is Andy Dufresne, and I was sent to jail for the murder of my wife and her lover. The fact that I didn't commit those murders didn't really matter to anyone but me though. In real life I was a banker, and the warden soon found that he could use my knowledge to make himself a rich man. I had to go to prison to learn how to break the law, but that's just what I did in helping the warden lay a paper trail to cover his butt, and launder his illegally obtained money.
