Although Kyle dies in the struggle with the cyborg, it is not before Sarah and he experience a night of passion. At the conclusion of the movie, a pregnant Sarah Connor rides off into the storm and single parenthood.

"Forrest Gump" (1994) won six Oscars in 1995 for a unique love story of one man's remarkable life through some of the most defining events of the 20th Century. "City of Angels" (1998) introduces the world to Seth, an angel whose responsibility it is to meet the dying and be their escort to the afterlife. He then hitches a ride to Lake Tahoe where he arrives on Maggie's doorstep, cold, penniless, beaten, and completely mortal. The two of them consummate their relationship that night.

Later, Seth is visited by a former angel colleague. Cassiel asks him whether he would still have chosen mortality had he known he would lose Maggie so quickly.
