Bogart, being sentimental, allows the the young man to win at roulette at "Rick's". Bergman didn't know it was going to be a classic. It is.

Answer: David Copperfield

This is another one of Hollywood's most honored movies. Rhett and Scarlett - with the movie living up to the book. Everyone remembers the final line by Gable/Rhett.

"Laura" isn't dead; her friend is. Kim Novak (in "Vertigo") isn't dead; it's a set-up. Novak's character is married, but "Laura" is not. "Laura" survives at the end.
