Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The name of the film was 'See No Evil', which was released in 2006. It starred WWE superstar Kane, as the villain. What was the name of his character?

Answer: Jacob Goodnight

This was Kane's first film. Psychotic killer Jacob Goodnight lived hidden away in the Blackwell Hotel. Some delinquents were sent to clean up the hotel, and wound up getting offed one by one by Goodnight. WWE owner Vince McMahon was one of the producers for the film.
2. I think it's fair to say that the film, 'The Human Centipede', has had one of the most demented, sickest villains the horror genre has ever seen. What was the name of this villain?

Answer: Dr. Josef Heiter

'The Human Centipede(First Sequence)' was a very odd movie. This 2010 Dutch horror film was about a doctor who decided that he would do the ultimate surgical procedure. He kidnapped two young woman and a man, and joined them together to form a very disturbing human centipede. This evil doing was good enough reason to tag Dr. Josef Heiter as a very horrible villain!
3. The 2000 horror thriller, 'American Psycho', starred Christian Bale as the menacing serial killer. What was his name?

Answer: Patrick Bateman

Patrick Bateman was a yuppie Wall Street businessman, who was also a serial killer. Actor Christian Bale played this role flawlessly by portraying Bateman in such a hard, cold manner. But at the same time, his character added a very dark humor, which made this film at times hard, but also entertaining to watch!
4. The 1980 film, 'The Shining' was a creepy classic, thanks to actor Jack Nicholson. He played the role of the villain in this great horror gem. Name him.

Answer: Jack Torrance

Jack Torrance had taken the job of a winter caretaker for the Overlook Hotel. He brought his wife and young son to stay with him while he worked on writing his book. The hotel was possessed, and very bad, strange things started happening. Jack eventually became possessed himself, and tried to kill his wife and son, Danny. One scene of the film showed Jack chasing Danny around through a hedge maze with an axe in attempt to kill him!
5. The movie was 'Friday the 13th'. The original 1980 version. Most horror fans know by now that Jason's mother was the killer. What was her name?

Answer: Pamela

Pamela Voorhees stalked and killed the camp counselors at Camp Crystal lake. She was getting revenge for the drowning of her son, Jason, which happened in 1957. Of course, as fans of the film franchise later found out, Jason was not dead. Betsy Palmer played the role of Mrs. Voorhees.
6. Here's something a little different for you. This film's villain didn't have a name, but hopefully you can still tell me WHAT the villain was...the film was called 'Blades'. It was a 1989 Troma film. What was the villain in this film?

Answer: A killer lawnmower

Anyone who has seen this quirky B-rated gem from Troma would probably have been able to see the uncanny resemblance between this film, and that of a certain blockbuster about a great white shark! 'Blades' has been compared to 'Jaws' in so many ways. This killer lawnmower also remained a hidden secret until towards the end of the film.

Instead of barrels being placed to know the killer's wherabouts (like the scene in 'Jaws'), balloons were the objects used in this film. Priceless!
7. The year 1998 gave us the the movie, 'Bride of Chucky'. Aside from Chucky himself, what was the name of the title character, who was also Chucky's pretty little partner in crime?

Answer: Tiffany

Tiffany was played by Jennifer Tilly. She was the girlfriend and partner in crime of Charles Lee Ray before his soul went into the Good Guy doll better known as Chucky. She managed to bring Chucky back to life in this film, which caused him to murder her, then bring her back again with voodoo.

Her soul had been placed inside a female doll, which again made her the accomplice of the man she loved. Together, the two managed to cause mayhem to those around them on their quest to transfer their souls into another human couple. Tilly's voice was perfect for the villainess beauty, who was also alongside of Chucky in the film, 'Seed of Chucky'.
8. There was a 1988 horror movie called, 'Uninvited'. Some might have called this movie a bit strange...and cheesy! What type of villain was doing the killing in this film?

Answer: A cat

A regular looking housecat was the killer here. The feline managed to escape from a laboratory that was doing evil testing on it by having it injected with a strange mutant virus. This caused the harmless looking kitty to kill its victims in a very odd way.

The cat would open its mouth, and out would come another cat, only this one had looked like that of a mutant. This critter would do the slaying, before going back inside the other cat's mouth until the next kill. Yes, I'm serious! The killer kitty managed to get aboard a yacht, terrorized the group of people on there, and killed them off one by one in this obscure horror film.
9. What type of villain was in the 2010 horror/comedy, 'Rubber'?

Answer: A car tire

'Rubber' was released in 2010. The plot of this comedy/horror film from France was very basic. A tire (who's name was Robert), came to life and killed people and animals by using psychic powers to make them blow up. It also became obsessed with a woman and followed her. This was one of those films that obviously should not have been taken seriously. Actor Wings Hauser starred.
10. What was the name of the killer in the 1985 horror film, 'Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning'?

Answer: Roy Burns

While it was meant for viewers to believe that Jason Voorhees had come back to claim more victims in this fourth sequel, it was actually a paramedic named Roy Burns. He had gone mad after having seen his son Joey murdered and chopped to pieces by a fellow resident at the Pinehurst halfway house.

He then murdered his victims while wearing a hockey mask, which made everyone (including the viewers) think that Jason was the killer.
