Answer: Master of the World

Jules Verne wrote "Master of the World" and "Robur the Conqueror", on which this movie is based. It's a story about a man who wishes to end all wars using his flying ship. It's a good movie but has some of the worst special effects you'll ever see!

Answer: Scream and Scream Again

Unfortunately, Peter Cushing is in the movie for about 3 minutes, while Christopher Lee is in a few short scenes. Vincent is in the movie for about 25 minutes. Price plays a Doctor who is helping create a race of Super-Humans. This movie can be quite confusing and therefore needs to be watched more than once if you want to understand everything that is going on.

Answer: Tower of London

Based on Shakespeare's "Richard III", Price plays the part of Richard, who desires to be king of England after his brother King Edward passes away. Richard murders his way to the throne of England and then is haunted by his victims. Interestingly, the movie is actually only 80 minutes long.

Answer: Return of the Fly

Due to budget restrictions this sequel was shot in black and white. In the original, Price's brother has the accident which gives him a fly head and arm. In the sequel, Price's nephew suffers the same fate.

Answer: Cry of the Banshee

Judging by the poor reviews this movie received, it was maybe for the best that this was the last. Price played a magistrate who was eager to rid the area of witches. However, one witch put a curse on him and his family. When members of his family began to die, Price had to try to escape the curse.

Answer: House of Wax

He was known as Charles Buchinsky back then. Bronson plays a mute who helps Price in his wax museum. Price's character is badly burned at the beginning of the movie. No longer able to sculpt with his hands, Price has to use real people dipped in wax for his subjects.

Answer: The Haunted Palace

Debra plays the part of Vincent's wife. She is alarmed at the changes in her husband since they came to the Palace once owned by Vincent's evil great, great grandfather who was burned alive by the townsfolk. Eventually Price is possesed by the spirit of his great, great grandfather and continues in his evil ways.

It's sad Debra quit doing movies at such a young age. She also appears in "Tales of Terror".

Answer: The Oblong Box

Corman did the bulk of the Poe pictures. Gordon Hessler directed "The Oblong Box". In truth, many of the Poe pictures had very little to do with the works of Edgar Allan Poe; including this one. This one has to do with a man accidentally buried alive, who seeks revenge when he is freed.

Answer: Tales of Terror

Basil Rathbone plays the doctor who hypnotizes Vincent Price. Price's character is dying from some disease and the doctor uses hypnotism ( mesmerism was the term used in the movie ) to ease his pain. In exchange for the doctor's services, Price agrees to let the doctor see how long he can delay the moment of death using hypnotism.

Answer: Theater of Blood

Price kills the critics using Shakespeare's plays as his inspiration. This is my favorite Vincent Price movie of them all!
