An instrumental written by Dickey Betts, "Jessica" is on the Allman Brothers' fifth album, 1973's "Brothers And Sisters".
Another instrumental that was also written by Betts, "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" is a little shorter at 6:56 and is from the 1970 album "Idlewild South".
"Melissa" is from the Allman Brothers' fourth album "Eat A Peach". "Little Martha" is the final track from the same album.

Answer: Free Bird

With a running time of 9:06 on their debut album "Pronounced Leh-'nerd 'Skin-'nerd", "Free Bird" was sliced down to 4:18 as a single which peaked at number 19.
Two other songs from Skynyrd's dynamic debut album were "Simple Man" clocking in at 5:57 and the smooth "Tuesdays Gone" at a length of 7:32.

"You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth" was Meatloaf's first single from "Bat Out of Hell" with an album length of 5:04. "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" fared better at number 11.
His first number one single came in 1993 with "I'd Do Anything For Love" with a running time of a whopping 12:01 on the album "Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell"; it was sliced by more than half to 5:25.

Also charting at number 16 was "Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing" with an album length of 4:44.
"Higher Ground" became the album's biggest hit reaching number four, while "He's Misstra Know-it-All" with a time of 5:35 peaked at number ten.

From the 1974 album "Ship Ahoy", "For the Love of Money" was trimmed to 3:42 and made it to number nine as a single.
"Backstabbers" was the title song from The O'Jays' 1972 album and rose to number three.
From the same album "Love Train" was their only number one hit.
The O'Jays' 1975 album "Family Reunion" produced "I Love Music" which had an album length of 6:51 and was sliced to 3:37 as a single that peaked at number five.

Two years later Stewart mirrored his success when he released "Time Passages" and the title track clocked in a second shorter at 6:39 and a second longer at 4:39 as a single which went to number seven.
From the same album, "Song on the Radio" stalled at number 29.

Answer: Bohemian Rhapsody

From their fourth album, the classic "Bohemian Rhapsody" rose to number nine in 1975. From the same album "You're My Best Friend" was much shorter at 2:52.
"Somebody to Love" which runs at 4:56 and is from 1976's "A Day at the Races" went to number 13.
From the fantastic album "Sheer Heart Attack", "Killer Queen" went to number 12.

Answer: Do It Again

I had to include a Steely Dan tune being they're one of my favorites. I stuck to their first three classic albums with "Do It Again" coming from 1972's "Can't Buy A Thrill"; it was trimmed to 4:14 and went to number 6.
From the same album "Reeling in the Years" clocking in at 4:37 charted at number 11.
Their second album, "Countdown To Ecstasy" produced the great "My Old School" which ran at 5:47.
"Rikki Don't Lose That Number" is the opening track from Steely Dan's third album "Pretzel Logic" and shot up to number four.
