Although Rod Stewart launched his solo career while still touring and recording with the group Faces, the group had broken up long before this song provided him with a number one hit. Written by Stewart and Carmine Appice, "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" was recorded on his "Blondes Have More Fun" album.

Answer: Bad Girls

"Bad Girls", written and performed by Donna Summer, was a huge hit off of the album of the same name. Summer was one of the few disco stars who was able to make the transition to the post-disco era. One of her biggest hits, "She Works Hard for the Money", comes from this era.

Answer: My Sharona

The Knack formed in Hollywood, in 1978, with the expressed goal of bringing back 'teenage rock and roll'. "My Sharona" was written by band member Doug Fieger, who claimed that he liked to write 'nasty songs about girls that he knew'. The band was seen by many as being obnoxious and arrogant, to the point where San Francisco artist, Hugh Brown, actually started an Anti-Knack campaign.

They had a smaller, second hit with "Good Girls Don't", and then basically faded off of the scene.
