Answer: John Anthony Genzale

Born in Queens, New York, Johnny attended school at Newtown High School. He was a talented baseball player and was approached by talent scouts throughout his junior career.
2. In what New York band, well known for their cross dressing and trashy lyrics did Johnny find fame?

Answer: New York Dolls

The New York Dolls were formed by Johnny and his long time friend Syl Sylvain. They were joined by David Johanson, Arthure Kane and Billy Murcia (Murcia later died of drug overdose and was replaced by Jerry Nolan).
3. Johnny left the Dolls after having reported troubles with the bands new manager in '75, what was the name of the manager?

Answer: Malcom Mclaren

Mclaren went on to manage the infamous Sex Pistols. His attempt to give the Dolls a communist image did not help their commercial sucess.
