The duo from Washington D.C.; Francine Barker (Peaches) and Herb Fame, began recording in the late 60s. After breaking up, Fame reformed the group with a new Peaches (Linda Green) in 1977. With the disco era kicking into high gear they hit the top five with "Shake Your Groove Thing" (1979) and followed it up two months later with the number one smash ballad, "Reunited".
