Answer: Pearl Jam

"Better Man" was taken off Pearl Jam's "Vitalogy" album, and was written by vocalist Eddie Vedder.
Former Australian cricket captain Steve Waugh famously used the song as his intro when walking out to bat. However, the lyrics will tell you the song is not about being a "better man" but about an abused woman unable to find a "better man".

9. Another alternative rock classic- who sang this? "In my eyes, indisposed, In disguises no one knows"

Answer: Soundgarden

"Black Hole Sun" is probably Soundgarden's most recognizable song. It was written by Chris Cornell with no particular idea in mind, preferring to just focus on painting a lyrical picture.
It worked, and was the band's biggest commercial success. Cornell has since gone on to successful solo projects, as well as heading up "Audioslave".
10. Who hit with this song? "I found it hard, it's hard to find Oh well, whatever, nevermind"

This was the song that started it all. "Smells like Teen Spirit" hit the world like a slap in the face in 1991. The song defined the grunge movement and helped several other bands rise from paying their dues in clubs to international superstardom.
