Answer: She's About a Mover

Augie Meyers played the catchy organ riff on "She's About A Mover". The Sir Douglas Quintet formed in Texas and settled in the San Francisco Bay area in the late sixties. After "She's About A Mover" became successful the band followed up three years later with the Top Twenty hit "Mendocino", and "Can You Dig My Vibrations?".
The group split in 1972 when Sahm decided to pursue a solo career. In 1999 he died of a heart attack. Augie Meyers and other members of the band continued to perform and record solo efforts or work with various artists.
"Bring It On Home to Me" was a 1965 Top Forty by The Animals. "Here It Comes Again" was a Top Forty release the same year by The Fortunes and "Just a Little" by the Bay Area Beau Brummels reached Number Eight.

In 1965 Van Morrison's group, Them, released Morrison's composition, "Gloria", as the flip side of "Baby Please Don't Go". "Gloria" began getting significant airplay; however, some stations banned the song because it made references to Gloria coming to his room.
In 1965 The Gants recorded a version in November, followed the next month by the Chicago based group, The Shadows of Knight.
"Diane", by The Bachelors, reached Number Ten in the US in 1964. "My Girl Sloopy" was a 1964 US Number 26 for The Vibrations. The following year it was released by The McCoys as "Hang On Sloopy" and topped the US charts. Rick Zehringer was a founding member of the McCoys and would find fame as a solo artist as Rick Derringer.

In 1973 "Midnight Train to Georgia" topped the US Charts for two weeks. The song was the only chart-topper for Gladys Knight and the Pips and one of their first singles released after the group switched from the Soul division of Motown Records to Buddah Records.
The group received the 1974 Grammy Award for Best R and B Vocal Performance By A Group for "Midnight Train to Georgia".
When Jim Weatherly composed the song it was titled "Midnight Plane to Houston". Cissy Houston changed the title when she recorded a version of the song. Weatherly forwarded the song to Gladys Knight's publisher and Gladys preferred Cissy's adaptation.
"Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me" went to Number Three the following year. In 1967, "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", made it to Number Two. "If I Were Your Woman" was a 1970 Top Ten hit for the group.

Peter and Gordon rode the British Invasion wave to the Number One spot in the US with "A World Without Love" in 1964. Paul McCartney composed the song as a Lennon/McCartney collaboration and initially offered the song to Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, one of the other bands that Brian Epstein managed. Following the success of "A World Without Love" the duo released several other Top Twenty US hits, including "Knight in Rusty Armour".

They reunited in 2005 at a tribute concert for Mike Smith of the Dave Clark Five. Gordon Waller died in July, 2009. Brewer and Shipley were based in Los Angeles.

Their 1970 hit was "One Toke Over the Line". "Yesterday's Gone" and "A Summer Song" were sixties hits by Chad and Jeremy. "All Strung Out" was a Top Forty 1966 release by Nino Tempo and April Stevens.

In 2003 he released the single, "Big Johnson", from his "Daddy's Home" album. Grammy Award-winning Rap artist Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., goes by the stage name of Lil Wayne. Young Jeezy was born Jay Jenkins.

He is a solo rapper and a member of the group Boyz N Da Hood. Shawn Corey Carter is known by the stage name Jay-Z.

"Soul Twist" was released by King Curtis and The Noble Knights and reached the Number 17 spot. Curtis was born Curtis Ousley. He became a session player for groups such as the Coasters in the fifties and later worked with Aretha Franklin. He formed his own band and released "Soul Twist", "Memphis Soul Stew" and "Soul Serenade", among others.

When he began working with Aretha Franklin he renamed his band the Kingpins. His career was cut short in 1971 when he died from injuries received during a stabbing. Junior Walker fronted a band called The All Stars. Stan Getz gained saxophone notoriety with "Girl From Ipanema". Saxophonist Len Allen can be heard on recordings by Fats Domino, Lloyd Price and several of Little Richard's hits.

In 1951 their first hit was "I Love the Sunshine of Your Smile". They followed with more hits and finally reached Number Two in the US in 1954 with "I Get So Lonely When I Think About You (Oh Baby Mine)".
"Three Coins In The Fountain" and "Stranger in Paradise" were 1954 hits by The Four Aces. "Moments To Remember" was a 1955 Top Twenty by The Four Lads.
