Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen has got to be one of the all time favourite karaoke songs. What is the next line to these lyrics? "Too late, my time has come, Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go, __________________________"

Answer: Got to leave you all behind and face the truth

Written by Freddie Mercury, "Bohemian Rhapsody" was released in 1975 for the album "A Night at the Opera". After his death to AIDS in 1991, the song was re-released and the proceeds went to the Terrence Higgins Trust and the Magic Johnson AIDS Foundation.
2. The Bangles had a hit song in 1989 with "Eternal Flame". What words come next? "Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling Do you feel my heart beating Do you understand Do you feel the same ________________________"

Answer: Am I only dreaming

The Bangles consisted of Susanna Hoffs, Vicki Peterson, Debbi Peterson and Annette Zilinskas. The song title was made in reference to the eternal flame next to Elvis Presley's graveside at Gracelands, and also to a synagogue in Palm Springs which brought back fond memories for the song co-writer, Billy Steinberg.

4. Another diva anthem popular on the karaoke circuit is "River Deep Mountain High" by Tina Turner. How do these lyrics continue? "When I was a little girl I had a rag doll Only doll I've ever owned Now I love you just the way I loved that rag doll ___________________________"

Answer: Far across the distance

Canadian singer, Celine Dion, sang the end credits to the 1997 film, "Titanic". The film director, James Cameron, did not initially want a lyrical song at the end of the film but was persuaded after hearing Celine sing a demo. The song went on to become the best selling single in 1998 worldwide.
9. What is the next line to '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You' by Bryan Adams? "Look into my eyes, you will see What you mean to me Search your heart, search your soul And when you find me there you'll search no more ______________________________"

Answer: Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for

"(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" was a ballad from the 1991 film "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves". Bryan Adams and song writers Michael Kamen and Robert John "Mutt" Lange won a Grammy award in 1992. It was also given an Oscar nomination but was beaten by the Disney song "Beauty and the Beast".
