Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "And you...Bring me to my knees, again. All the times...That I could beg you please, in vain"?

Answer: Staind - "Outside"

This was my favorite song off Staind's "Break the Cycle" album, although I think the acoustic version from the "The Family Values Tour 1999" CD is more powerful.
2. "Life is a waterfall...We're one in the river...And one again after the fall"?

Answer: System of a Down - "Aerials"

System of a Down's "Toxicity" and their self-titled debut album are two of my absolute favorites. Those CD's will be sorely missed.
3. "The microphone explodes...Shattering the molds"?

Answer: Rage Against the Machine - "Bulls on Parade"

I saw Rage when the toured in support of "Evil Empire." I was really disappointed when Zach left the band, but I am grateful that the remaining band members did not try to replace him and continue as RATM.
4. "If I say I don't need anyone...I can say these things to you, 'cause...I can turn on anyone...Just like I turned on you"?

Answer: Guns N' Roses - "Rocket Queen"

"Rocket Queen" is the final track on GN'R's "Appetite for Destruction," and is my favorite GN'R song of all. I got my first CD player in 1991, and this was one of the first CD's I owned.
5. "Make his fight on the hill in the early day...Constant chill deep inside"?

Answer: Metallica - "For Whom the Bell Tolls"

This track is on the 1984 album, "Ride the Lightning". Metallica was at the top of its game in the mid-80's.
6. "Don't look, don't look, the shadows breathe...Whispering away from me"?

Answer: The Cure - "Burn"

"The Crow" is an awsome movie, accompanied by an even better soundtrack. In addition to this song by The Cure, there are songs by Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, and Pantera to name a few.
7. "I am the son, and the heir...Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar"?

Answer: The Smiths - "How Soon is Now"

The Smiths were, without a doubt, my favorite pop band of the 80's. This song has been covered by artists such as Snake River Conspiracy, Tatu, and Love Spit Love. The Love Spit Love version appears on "The Craft" soundtrack and is the theme for the TV series "Charmed."
8. "On a cobweb afternoon...In a room full of emptiness"

Answer: Audioslave - "Like a Stone"

The combination of the Tim, Tom, and Brad from Rage Against the Machine with Chris Cornell of Soundgarden turned out pretty good.
9. "Blind me, erase what was...Stillborn, I have become"?

Answer: Black Label Society - "Stillborn"

I bought the album, "The Blessed Hellride," just for this song. Zakk Wylde founded Black Label Society and also plays guitar for Ozzy Osbourne.
10. "I took a walk around the world to ease my troubled mind...I left my body lying somewhere in the sands of time"?

Answer: Three Doors Down - "Kryptonite"

This is off the album, "Better Life." Technically, this CD didn't get stolen with my car. Only the empty jewel case was in my car, and I don't know where the CD is. So, I have given up hope that my little Honda will be returned. Honestly, I am more sad about losing my CD's than the car.
