Answer: Velvet Revolver

Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum formed Velvet Revolver in 2002 and then ex Stone Temple Pilots lead man Scott Weiland won the audition for lead vocals.
2. Robert Palmer fronted with a couple of ex Duran Duran members to form what group in the mid eighties?

Answer: Power Station

Palmer formed Power Station with John Taylor and Andy Taylor from Duran Duran. Their memorable hits were "Some Like it Hot" and the T-Rex cover "Get It On".
