1. Number ten is a well-known song by Alanis Morissette from her debut album "Jagged Little Pill". It caused quite a fuss because of one line where Alanis talks quite freely about sex. Which song is it?

Answer: "You Oughta Know"

Alanis says that the anger in the song is actually sadness - it's just easier to be angry than sad. However - the song still seems mighty aggressive...
2. Number nine - Faith No More. Can you guess the song title from these given lyrics: "You're perfect, yes, it's true - But without me, you are only you..."?

Answer: "Midlife Crisis"

From the album "Angel Dust" (1992). The band broke up in 1998, and that's really a pity!
3. Number eight: Rage Against The Machine. One of their early songs. The lyrics actually consist of five different lines which are repeated several times in a different order, plus some "aaah's" and "uggh's". You should know the title when I quote the following: "And now you do what they told ya..."

Answer: Killing In The Name

"Some of those that were forces are the same that bore crosses". I don't know why I love this song, but I flip out every time I hear it. From the 1992 album "Rage Against The Machine".
4. Number seven is one of Metallica's greatest hits. The title might sound like a lullaby - but you would scare your children to death if you tried to sing them to sleep with this song:

6. Number five - Reamonn. This German band with a British lead singer had their first smash hit "Supergirl" in 1999, followed by the singles "Josephine" and "Waiting There For You". The song I am talking about is from their second album "Dream No. 7" (2001) and has been written for the German movie "Mondscheintarif" (the band also had a cameo appearance in the film). It became quite popular (though no Number One Hit), and it really makes you...

9. Number two... This lyric should be enough. Fill in the blank: "And they say that a ____ can save us, and I'm not gonna stand here and wait..."

Answer: Hero

From the "Spider-Man" - movie soundtrack. I could tell you now how much I ADORE this song, but I'll leave it at that: A real masterpiece!
