Answer: Elvis Presley

Elvis's recording of "It's Now Or Never" remained at number one for five weeks on the Billboard pop charts. John Schneider (of "Dukes of Hazzard" fame) covered the song in 1981. His version peaked at number four on the Billboard Country charts.
2. "You'll Never Know" is arguably one of the most beautiful love songs of all time. It has been recorded by countless artists over the years. According to the lyrics, how many times has the singer confessed his love for her?

Answer: A million or more times

"You'll Never Know" won the Oscar in 1943 for Best Original Song. It was sung by Alice Faye in the movie "Hello Frisco, Hello". Several artists in different genres have recorded the song and performed it in their live concerts.

Answer: The Fray

Formed in the Denver area, The Fray began as a Christian rock band. Their 2010 Grammy nomination was for Best Pop Performance by a Vocal Duo or Group. The winner that year was The Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling". "Never Say Never" peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

7. In her big crossover hit "(I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden" Lynn Anderson sings this line: "Love shouldn't be so" what?

Answer: melancholy

"(I Never Promised You) A Rose Garden" was written by the great Joe South. Lynn's version reached number one on the Billboard Country charts and number three on their Pop chart in 1970. Answer: Tom Jones

Tom Jones was encouraged by Lonnie Donegan, co-writer of the song, to record it. Donegan (of "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavor" fame) recorded it first in 1962 but he felt it wasn't his type of song. Tom's emotional rendition of it remains one of his strongest vocals.
