Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. STEREOPHONICS: "You line them up, look at your shoes"

Answer: Mr. Writer

This is, in my opinion, one of their best songs, and features their most memorable, yet freaky video! It is the one that features the crashing car, with the band dressed as evil and depressed clowns. I know a few people with clown phobias that can't watch it!
2. TRAVIS: "Baby, you've been going so crazy, lately nothing seems to be going right"

Answer: Sing

This is the track with the food fight video. Did you know that the monkey featured in it is actually Marcel, Ross' monkey from "Friends"? What a star that monkey is becoming!
3. GREEN DAY: "Do you have the time to listen to me whine, about nothing and everything all at once?"

Answer: Basket Case

'Basket Case' was the single that launched Green Day into the big-time here in the UK, and was taken from the album 'Dookie'. The video has been much copied, particularly by the likes of Eminem!
4. MEAT LOAF: "The locusts are singing, the sun is red. It's gotten so late somehow."

Answer: Home By Now

A not-so-well known track at first glance, but when you listen to this in full, the middle section will sound very familiar. It was released as a single by Boyzone entitled 'No Matter What', after they asked to work with Meat Loaf's writer, Jim Steinman.
5. PRINCE: "Oh, I got a live one here!"

Answer: Batdance

This track was featured on the soundtrack to the original Batman movie.
6. 4 Non-Blondes: "25 years of my life and still, I'm trying to get up that great big hill of hope"

Answer: What's Up

This must be the band's only real successful single, depsite having released a few more since. Now, Linda Perry, the lead singer, has most notably started working in close conjunction with Pink on her most recent album.
7. GUNS N ROSES: "Talk to me softly, there's something in your eyes"

Answer: Don't Cry

This is a track that was recorded twice, for two different albums, with both versions having different lyrics. The above lyric is from the original version, with the alternative version beginning: "If we could see tomorrow, what of your plans".
8. CHRISTINA AGUILERA: "Ladies (Move), Gentlemen (Move), somebody ring the alarm, a fire in the room"

Answer: Dirrty

The return of Christina was higlighted by the release of this song, with a very raunchy new image.
9. JANET JACKSON: "There are times when I look above and beyond"

Answer: Together Again

This track is taken from 'The Velvet Rope' album, and was inspired by a letter from a fan about how he sees his mother in heaven after she died. Very moving.
10. PINK: "Shadows are fallin' all over town"

Answer: Misery

By far the most powerful and moving track from the 'M!ssundaztood' album, this track features the guest vocals of Steven Tyler, lead singer of the rock band Aerosmith.
