Answer: Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2

"Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2" is one of Pink Floyd's most famous songs, as well as their only number one hit, and my personal favorite. The song, about children revolting against the oppression of their teachers, was banned in South American countries due to its theme of protesting the educational system.

The song was inspired by experiences at the Cambridge School For Boys. It appears on the double-album "The Wall". Roger Waters penned most of the album himself.

Answer: Dogs

"Dogs" appears as the second track on the album "Animals". Roger Waters stated that the concept of "Animals" was to describe the different levels of society. Roger Waters wrote the entire album himself, with help from Gilmour on this song.

Answer: Comfortably Numb

"Comfortably Numb" appears on the double-album "The Wall". Waters has stated that it was partly inspired by an experience he had, where he had severe stomach pains before a concert and was given a shot. This resulted in him hardly being able to lift his left arm, yet he played anyway.

The song is about what drugs do to the human body. Roger Waters and David Gilmour had a long argument over this song as to how it should have been written. Gilmour wanted to sing it with more of a grunge sound, but Waters ultimately won.

Answer: Wish You Were Here

"Wish You Were Here" is one of the last tracks on the album of the same name. It is mainly about Syd Barrett, the original lead singer and guitarist who was kicked out of the band after years of drug abuse deteriorated his mental state. The songs is about Pink Floyd wishing Barrett could still be with them.

The line "from a cold steel rail" is a reference to one of the songs on Barrett's solo album, one of the tracks mentioning a cold steel rail.

Answer: Keep Talking

"Keep Talking" appears on the album "The Division Bell", the last album they would release until twenty years later, in late 2014. It is the second album without Roger Waters, who left Pink Floyd after disputes within the band.

Answer: Brain Damage

"Brain Damage" is often mistitled "I'll See You on the Dark Side of the Moon" by radio stations when it is played. It is the second-to-last track on the album, followed by "Eclipse". The songs on the album have no breaks in between, so the latter and the former are often believed to be one song.

"Have a Cigar" appears on the album "Wish You Were Here". The line "Oh by the way, which one's Pink?" is a reference to the character Pink, created by Roger Waters, whose life is told through the music of the double-album "The Wall".

Answer: Eclipse

"Eclipse" is the closing track on "The Dark Side of the Moon". After the lyrics, if you listen carefully, you can hear the spoken line "There is no dark side of the moon, really. As a matter of fact it's all dark." At the very end of the song, if you listen carefully again, you can faintly make out "Ticket To Ride" by The Beatles, which was playing in one of the rooms nearby at Abbey Road Studios.

"See Emily Play" was the only single to feature original lead singer Syd Barrett. Barrett was later booted out of the band after years of psychedelic drug abuse deteriorated his mental state. He was later replaced with David Gilmour.

Answer: Jugband Blues

"Jugband Blues" is the closing track on the album "A Saucerful of Secrets". Due to Syd Barrett's mental deterioration after drug abuse, this was his last composition for Pink Floyd before being kicked out of the band. After his departure, Roger Waters was the driving force behind Pink Floyd.
