Welcome to the Jungle is the first song off their debut album "Appetite for Destruction."

"You Could Be Mine" appeared on the album "Use Your Illusion II."

It was featured in the chase scene in the movie "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991), where John Connor is on a motorcycle being chased by the T-1000 in a semi.

The music video for "November Rain" won an MTV Video Music award for Best Cinematography and the song itself peaked at number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

"Paradise City" appeared on the album "Appetite for Destruction."

Part of the video for this song was filmed in the Meadowlands arena in East Rutherford, NJ, home to both the NY Giants and the NY Jets.
This song was used in the movie "Can't Hardly Wait." The nerd, who has gotten drunk, hears the song and says "I know this song! The guy I tutored in math made me listen to it." And then proceeds to sing along to it and gets a standing ovation, instantly making him cool.

Guns N' Roses was started by Axl Rose and Tracii Guns. Although Tracii left the band shortly after its formation, and before the final line up would come together, Axl kept the name. Tracii found fame with own band called L.A. Guns.

"Street of Dreams" appears on the album "Chinese Democracy."

Slash stated in his book "Slash" (2007) that any talk of the original line up of Guns N' Roses reuniting is complete fiction as he hadn't spoken to Axl since he left the band in 1996.

Steven Adler was the first original band member to leave the band, albeit unwillingly. All four original band members have stated in interviews that Steven was fired because his substance abuse was interfering with the band's work. He was replaced by Matt Sorum in 1991.

This song is not an original Guns N' Roses song. It was written and performed by Wings and used for the James Bond film of the same name.

Izzy Stradlin was the next original band member to leave. He quit the band in 1991, during the band's "Use Your Illusion" tour. Slash noted in his book, "Slash," that Izzy felt that Matt Sorum's sound was not a good fit with the band, and was tired of Axl's erratic behavior.

This song was also written by Izzy Stradlin. The video ends with a bit of unintentional foreshadowing. The end features Axl Rose watching videos of the original Guns N' Roses line up, leading the viewer to believe that the band has broken up, this was a full eight years before the complete break up of the band in 1997.

Slash was the next original member to leave the band. He quit in 1996 following artistic arguments with Axl.

"Chinese Democracy" is a song on the long delayed album of the same name.

The album "Chinese Democracy" was released exclusively through Best Buy in the United States in November of 2008.

Duff McKagan was the final original member to leave the band. He quit the band in 1997 along with Matt Sorum. They were reportedly getting tired of Axl's increasingly erratic behavior.

"Nightrain" appears on "Appetite for Destruction."

The original cover for the "Appetite for Destruction" album was deemed offensive by many people and the band was forced to change it. The original cover featured a 1978 painting by Robert Williams, entitled, appropriately enough, "Appetite for Destruction", in the middle of two black bands. The black band on the left had the band's name, and one on the right had the album's name. I won't describe what the painting looks like, suffice to say that it's not hard to see why people would be offended by it.

In 1997, Axl bought the rights to the name "Guns N' Roses." This move prevented anyone from calling themselves "Guns N' Roses" without Axl's permission.
