 Off the CD, "New Miserable Experience". The lead guitarist and premier songwriter for the band committed suicide to end the band's short but prolific musical career.
2. Temperature's risin', fever is high."

Answer: "Cold Turkey" by John Lennon

 John Lennon wrote this song about his withdrawl from drugs and the symptoms he experienced.
3. "Do what I please, gonna spread the disease because I wanna."

Answer: "(Hate to Say) I Told You So"by The Hives

 A new band that just has released its first major album in 2002.
4. "I want my MTV."

Answer: "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits

 Probably the best known song by the band.
5. "Today is the first of the rest of our lives. Tomorrow is too late to pretend everything is alright."

Answer: "Church on Sunday"by Green Day

 Green Day has been around for a long time. They just released a new album entitled "Shenanigans". Not as good as their previous stuff but that's okay. "Church on Sunday" was on the album "Warning".

 Again, the best known song by The Eagles. There is rumor that they are getting back together for a reunion tour (2002).

Answer: "Mr. E's Beautiful Blues" byThe Eels

 Off of "Daisies of the Galaxy". This song was on the soundtrack for the movie "Road Trip".
8. "I read the news today, oh boy". (This is an easy one)

Answer: "A Day in the Life" by The Beatles

 Off of my second favorite Beatles album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". (Right behind "Rubber Soul"). This song was written by John after he read a British newspaper.
9. "Listen can you hear the disaster..oh yeah..it's there about a quarter a mile...oh my baby doll.".

Answer: "Late Nights in Voodoo" by Buckcherry

 This song was never released on a formal CD, but can be found as a single and on the internet. Buckcherry only released two albums before the band broke up.
10. Finish this line by the Rolling Stones..."I sit and watch ____ ______ ____ ___."

Answer: As Tears Go By

 My favorite song by the Stones. I just thought I'd throw some variety into the quiz.
