Answer: Rotherham

The Arctic Monkeys are a rock group from Sheffield. The song appeared on the EP "Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys", the album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" and was also released as a single. The Arctic Monkeys sing "You're not from New York City, you're from Rotherham".

The New York Stadium is the home ground of Rotherham F.C. since 2012. The town is on the road that connects Sheffield with Doncaster. Rotherham has been a market town since 1207 with a charter granted by King John. South Shields lies on the mouth of the river Tyne not very far from Newcastle.
