"Misery Loves Company" was written by Jerry Reed, and was Porter's second number one hit. It stayed on the chart for 29 weeks.

"She Thinks I Still Care", written by Dickey Lee and Steve Duffy, was a huge hit for George in 1962. Connie Francis released a cover version also in that year, which peaked at number 18 on Billboard's Easy Listening chart.
Anne Murry's 1974 cover climbed to the top of the Hot Country Singles chart also.

"Wolverton Mountain" by Claude King was a re-write of the original version by Merle Kilgore. Kilgore's version was based on a real-life person, Clifton Flowers, who lived on a mountain called Woolverton in Arkansas.

Nat King Cole put "Wolverton Mountain" on his 1962 album titled "Ramblin' Rose".
