Answer: Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston

The two met in 1998, the result of a blind date set up by their agents. They were married in a private ceremony costing US$1 million in Malibu, California. On October 2, 2005, Hollywood's golden couple was divorced.
2. Major League Baseball broke-up with this former baseball player and manager after it was discovered that he bet on baseball games. What is the name of this former all-star?

Answer: Pete Rose

Rose was a World Series champion three times, won three batting titles, 17 time All Star and at the time of his retirement was the all time hits leader with 4,256. Because of his gambling he will more than likely never be inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame.

McAuliffe was chosen from over 11,000 applicants to ride aboard the shuttle. The Congressional Space Medal of Honor was awarded posthumously to her in 2004. The members of the STS-51-L crew were; Michael J. Smith, Dick Scobee, Judith Resnik, Ronald McNair, Christa McAuliffe, Gregory Jarvis and Ellison Onizuka.

The shuttle program was shut down for 32 months after the tragedy. President Reagan appointed a special commission to investigate the accident and nine recommendations had to be implemented before NASA was able to restart the launches.

The duo met in grade school and grew up just a few blocks from each other in Queens, New York. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel were first known as "Tom & Jerry", but as "Simon and Garfunkel" they recorded songs that still endure today.

The Falcons drafted Favre in the second round of the 1991 NFL draft out of Southern Mississippi. Ron Wolf, the Green Bay Packers general manager offered Atlanta a first round pick for Farve and the trade was completed before the 1992 season.

President Truman relieved General Douglas MacArthur of command on April 11, 1951. Truman felt as though MacArthur was challenging the civilian authority by ignoring directives and making statements that were contrary to what the president was trying to achieve.
7. Sonny and Cher had a successful singing career and had two top ten shows during the 1970s. What year were they divorced?

Answer: 1975

Cher has been very successful singing and acting. She has received numerous awards including a Best Actress Oscar for the movie "Moonstruck". Sonny continued his career singing and acting. He went on to become involved in politics as Mayor of Palm Springs from 1988 - 1992 and was elected to the United States Congress in 1994. Sonny died in a skiing accident in 1998.

Martin and Lewis both had great careers after the split. Martin continued acting, recorded a number of hit records and had a very successful run in television with "The Dean Martin Show". Lewis had a string of successful films and became very involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association with his Labor Day Telethon. The two reconciled when Dean appeared unannounced in 1976 during the Labor Day Telethon. Dean Martin Passed away on December 25, 1995.

Answer: William and Harry

William was born in 1982 and Harry (birth name Henry) came into the world in 1984. Both of the boys have continued their mother's work with charities and they both attended Sandhurst Military Academy. Princess Diana died as a result of a car crash in 1997. Prince Charles was married to Camilla Parker-Bowles in 2005.

On August 29, 1966 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, The Beatles performed for the last time in concert. The Beatles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. I remember through the years there would occasionally be talk of a reunion, unfortunately the reunion never happened. John Lennon was murdered on December 8, 1980 and George Harrison died from cancer on November 29, 2001.
