1. Whom did Robert and his father, John, try to put on the throne?

Answer: Jane Grey

John Dudley and Robert Dudley were both part of the plot to get the Lady Jane Grey on the throne of England after the death of King Edward VI. Answer: Mary, Queen of Scots
