1. Where did Queen Victoria die?

Answer: Osborne House

Queen Victoria was born on 24 May 1819 at Kensington Palace. She ascended the throne on 20 June 1837 and was crowned on 28 June 1838.
She married her cousin Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha on 10 February 1840 and they had nine children, four boys and five girls.
When Albert died of typhoid fever in 1861 Queen Victoria went into deep mourning and wore mourning clothes for the rest of her life.
She died at Osborne House, where she and Prince Albert spent much of their time, on the Isle of Wight, on 22 January 1901 after a reign which lasted for over 63 years.

King Edward VII was the eldest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and was born on 9 November 1841.
He was a likeable person but gained a reputation as a playboy, interested in women, sport, food and drink.
He married Alexandra, daughter of Christian of Denmark on 10 March 1863 and they had six children, three boys and three girls.
He ascended the throne on the death of his mother on 22 January 1901 when he was 59 years old. He died on 6 May 1910 of pneumonia.

Albert Frederick Arthur George was the second son of King George V and was born on 14 December 1895 at Sandringham.
He married Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon and they had two daughters, Elizabeth, later to become Queen Elizabeth II, and Margaret Rose.
He did not expect to succeed to the throne but did so when his elder brother, King Edward VIII, abdicated on 11 December 1936.
He and the Queen remained in London throughout the World War Two blitz. He was the first member of the Royal family to learn to fly.

After the death of King George VI she held the title of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. She died on 30 March 2002, aged over 101 Years.

Sandringham is situated in Norfolk, north-east of King's Lynn.

When King George VI died on 6 February 1952, Princess Elizabeth was on holiday in Kenya with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.
She was crowned on 2 June 1953 in Westminster Abbey, the first coronation to be televised.
They had four children, Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward.

After the abdication he lived in France and married Mrs Wallis Simpson on 3 June 1937, after she became divorced.King George VI gave him the title of Duke of Windsor but the Duchess was not given the rank of 'Royal Highness'
Relations with his family were not good as there were rumours that the Windsors were passing information to the Germans during World War II.
He died in Paris on 28 May 1972 and was buried at Frogmore in Windsor Home Park.

He married Diana Spencer and they had two sons, William and Harry, before the marriage ended in divorce. He later married Camilla Parker-Bowles.

She was born on 1 July 1961 to Edward Spencer, Viscount Althorp, and his wife Frances. In 1981 she married Prince Charles and they had two sons, William and Harry.Unfortunately the marriage ended in divorce in 1996.
She did a great deal of charity work but died in a car accident in Paris on 31 August 1997. She was buried on the Family estate at Althorp Park.
