Louise Marie was born in 1692 during James's exile in France. She died in 1712, aged 20. James called her 'La Consolastrice' - the daughter sent to comfort them in their exile.

Princess Victoria, daughter of King Edward VII, lived from 1868 to 1935. She never married and spent her life in devoted attendance to her mother, Queen Alexandra.
