Richard Burton (1925-1984) was a Welsh actor who also had a baritone voice. He first established himself as a Shakespearean actor in the 1950s. In an acting career spanning over 40 years he was nominated nine times for an Academy Award, but was never successful. He was one of Elizabeth Taylor's seven husbands being married to her on two occasions 1964-1974 and 1975-1976.
