4. Find the match for the number of civil wars David was involved in. (2 Samuel 4:5-6 and 2 Samuel 18:7)

Answer: 2

Peace and tranquility did not come easily for David, as Scripture states he was involved in two civil wars. First, he became king of Israel after the nation was plunged into a bloody civil war. According to Scripture, David reigned as king over Judah while Ish-bosheth, the son of Saul, reigned over the northern ten tribes. After two years of war, Ish-bosheth was assassinated (2 Samuel 4:5-6) and David ended up ruling as king over a united Israel.

A second civil war erupted when David's son Absalom led a coup. Once again, David's forces emerged victorious -- but not before a lot of blood was shed. 2 Samuel 18:7 reports there were no less than 20,000 casualties in a key battle in the forest of Ephraim. Scripture goes on to report about Absalom being killed by Joab and David's forces emerging victorious.
5. Find the match for the number of NAMED children of Adam and Eve. (Genesis 4:1-2 and 25)

Answer: 3

Scripture states Adam and Eve were the parents of Cain, Abel and Seth. However, according to Genesis 5:4, Adam had other sons and daughters who are not named. There could have been many children as Genesis 5:5 states Adam was nine hundred and thirty years old when he died. However, the correct answer to this question has to be the number three.
6. Find the match for the age of Methuselah when he died. (Genesis 5:27)

Answer: 969 years

Methuselah was the oldest man in the Bible, living to be nine hundred and sixty-nine years old, according to Genesis 5:27.

Genesis 5:21 states Enoch was the father of Methuselah. Genesis 5:25 states Methuselah was the father of Lamech, the first polygamist named in the Bible and the second murderer, after Cain. (See Genesis 4.)
7. Find the match for the number of Psalms in the Old Testament (in the Western tradition of Christianity).

Answer: 150

There are one hundred and fifty Psalms in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. Many of the Psalms were written by David. It's impossible to come up with an exact total for David's contributions as a number of the Psalms do not have any credit lines. The numbers vary, with different Websites giving a different total for David's contributions.

However, the consensus appears to be that David wrote more than seventy Psalms at the very least. According to notes in the NKJV Study Bible, some of the other Palmists include Ethan, Heman, Asaph and Moses as well as Solomon, who is credited with writing two of the Psalms -- Numbers 72 and 127.
8. Find the match for the age Joseph was when he was sold into captivity. (Genesis 37:2)

Answer: 17 years

Going by by Genesis 37:2, Joseph was seventeen years old. By the time you read down to Verse 10, the account swings over to talk about the brothers betraying Joseph. After discussing a plan to kill him, they opted to sell him to a group of Midianite traders. Joseph would end up being a slave in Egypt and, after serving time in prison for a crime he didn't commit, he would end up becoming the second in command in his new country.
9. Find the match for the age of Moses when he first appeared before the Pharaoh. (Exodus 7:7)

Answer: 80 years

According to Exodus 7:7, Moses was eighty years old and his brother Aaron was eighty-three when they first appeared before the Pharaoh to seek permission to lead the Isrealites out of Egypt.

Moses and Aaron formed a dynamic duo, and Scripture reports they were used by the LORD to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. After ten vicious plagues -- everything from the Nile River turning into blood to the deaths of the country's firstborn -- the brothers finally received the Pharaoh's permission to leave Egypt and to head to Canaan, known as The Promised Land.

The two brothers were also assisted by their sister Miriam.
10. Find the match for the number of books in the Pentateuch of the Old Testament.

Answer: 5

The Pentateuch refers to the first five books of the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament -- Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Tradition holds Moses wrote the books of the Pentateuch, but a number of modern day theologians strongly dispute such is the case.
