Answer: A massive earthquake with objects falling from the sky

The sixth seal, seventh trumpet and seventh bowl all involve a great earthquake and stars falling from the sky like hail. The latter two of these also mention the temple being opened:
"I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place" (Revelation 6:12-14)
"Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm." (Revelation 11:19)
"Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. Answer: The plague's lethality

Both in the fifth and the sixth trumpet, those humans not having the Seal of God are affected by a plague transmitted by creatures who appear like riders, with a breastplate, lions' teeth and a golden mane, transmitting the disease by the sting of their tails. Both descriptions involve heavy amounts of sulfurous smoke (from the earth and the mouths of the creatures respectively). However, the fifth trumpet plague is painful but nonlethal ("They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. [...] During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them", Revelation 9:5-6) while the sixth trumpet plague has a high casualty rate ("A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths.", Revelation 9:18).

Answer: One third

The theme of one third of each affected resource being destroyed is especially common in the trumpet judgments, where five of the seven divine plagues each hit one third of the earth:
"A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up." (Revelation 8:7)
"A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed."(Revelation 8:8-9)
"[...] a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water -- the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, [...]" (Revelation 8:10-11)
"The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night." (Revelation 8:12)
"A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths." (Revelation 9:18)

The fraction of one quarter is used in the description of the four Horsemen while one tenth is given as the destroyed part of the holy city in Revelation 11:13.

Answer: The evil spirits of the demons (Revelation 16:13)

Obviously, the most well-known occurrence of the number four concerns the four riders, but there are also the four great creatures - lion, ox, man and eagle -, the angels at the corners of the world and those released from the Euphrates to bring about the sixth trumpet judgment.

The demonic spirits number only three - one each from the mouth of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet.

Answer: The total number of wings is the number of Elders surrounding God.

The twenty-four Elders surrounding God and the four magnificent creatures also doing so are intricately connected through the creatures' wings - each of the four creatures has six wings, giving the arrangement a great cosmic symmetry.

The witnesses are given 42 months to preach, the number of judgments is 21 and, depending on whether one reads the 42 months of the witnesses' mission and those of the beast's reign as consecutive or the same time, one arrives at either seven or three and a half years for the entire tribulation.

Answer: The number of crowns worn

All of these beasts have seven heads, ten horns and actively oppose God and his angels in blasphemy, in fighting or in both. However, the red dragon has seven crowns (one on each head), the beast coming out of the sea has ten crowns (one on each horn) and the one ridden by Babylon is not described as having any crowns.

It is also interesting that the two of these three beasts that are described as serpent-like and red (the dragon and Babylon's mount) are both directly associated with a woman whom the beast will ultimately pursue and try to kill, but these two women are clearly opposite in nature, since the one associated with the red dragon is pure and hated for having born God's chosen child. (Revelation 12:1-2 and 12:13-16)

Answer: Gog and Magog

An explicit statement of the final fate of the Beast and the False Prophet is given in Revelation 19:20; for the Devil, it is in Revelation 20:10 and for Death and Hades, in Revelation 20:14.

For Gog and Magog, however, we know nothing about their fate and in fact, even their nature remains rather unclear, with the only reference being "When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore." (Revelation 20:7-8)

Answer: The first of the four horsemen (Revelation 6:2)

"I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest" matches the description of the Lord of Lords in many details - the white horse, the crown and the mission of conquest that in Revelation 19:14-15 is expressed as "The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. 'He will rule them with an iron scepter.'"

The most striking difference in description between the white rider and the King of Kings is that the white rider carries a bow instead of the sword. This sword, as well as the fiery eyes (Revelation 19:12), the waging of war and the robe dipped in blood (Revelation 19:13), are, however, reminiscent of the second of the four horsemen: "Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword." (Revelation 6:4)

Answer: The fourth judgment

The second and third judgments of both the trumpets and the bowls each deal with water turning to blood - the sea during the second and the fresh water during the third judgment. The main difference between these two pairs are that the bowl judgments are much more encompassing - where the trumpets (Revelation 8:8-11) have merely killed a third of the life in these habitats, the bowls (Revelation 16:3-4) left none alive.
The seventh judgment in both groups contains the earthquake and the fiery hail accompanying the voice from the temple.

Less clear parallels exist in the first bowl judgment (mirroring the fifth trumpet plague), the fifth bowl (darkness mirrors the fourth trumpet) and the sixth bowl which, while very different in effect from the sixth trumpet, however again includes powerful beings being set loose at the river Euphrates.

The only bowl of wrath not corresponding to the trumpets in any way is the fourth: "The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him" (Revelation 16:8-9)

Answer: The Church of Sardis

Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation introduce many aspects of the prophecy to come without going into detail or explaining them. They especially parallel the last chapters (20 to 22) in their mentioning of the things those who will be saved will partake in during the eternal life. The book of life (Revelation 20:13-15) plays a central role in the prophecy because it alone is the record of who will be saved and who will suffer the second death and be plunged into the lake of fire. The Church of Sardis is in particular need of this reminder because Jesus says about them: "I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God." (Revelation 3:1-2)

Some of the churches' messages, however, have no parallels in the remainder of the text, e.g. "Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life." (Revelation 3:10). Whether this is due to the relevant passages having been lost in the early years before the book of Revelation was fully written down or a divine mystery that humanity cannot fully explain is not revealed in the book itself.
