Cal hit over 400 home runs, 3000 hits, and of course played in 2632 consecutive games. Cal retired after the 2001 season. His career is an inspiration to all.

The Yankees did not win the division once in that time span. The AL East was created in 1969. The Orioles won the division in 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, and 1974. The Tigers won in 1972.
