1. Which of the following players did NOT wear the number 3 on their uniform?

Answer: Billy Williams

Billy Williams of the Cubs wore number 26. Him and the great Ernie Banks coupled for some great Cub baseball.
2. What Dodger infielder spoiled Dodgers Jerry Reuss from throwing a perfect game by committing an error in 1980?

Answer: Bill Russell

On June 27th, 1980, Dodger shortstop Bill Russell's blunder in the second inning of a throwing error allowed Jack Clark of the Giants to be the only baserunner that Reuss allowed. The Dodgers won the game 8-0.
3. Who was the first Chicago Cub to win 25 games in a season?

Answer: Three Fingers Brown

All pitchers listed were Cub 25 game winners. Brown was the first when he went 26-6 in 1906. He did it again in 1908, 1909, and 1910. Cheney won 26 in 1912, Alexander won 27 in 1920, and Charlie Root won 26 in 1927.
4. What player retired with 407 home runs and struck out more than 3 times as much with 1237 strikeouts?

Answer: Duke Snider

The Duke spent most of his career with the Dodgers. A three-time strikeout ratio is not good but Snider hit most of his home runs in the clutch for the Dodgers. He spent 18 seasons in the Major Leagues from 1947-1964.
5. Who was the first Montreal Expo to win 20 games in a season?

Answer: Ross Grimsley

Ross Grimsley in 1978 was the first 20 game winner when he went 20-11. Through the 2001 season he is still the only one.
