Answer: 33

A comfortable 137-104 win over North Melbourne at the MCG in the first match of the 1987 season.

2. In what year did the Bears first defeat Adelaide at Football Park?

Answer: 1995

A 30 point win on a freezing cold Sunday night in Round 17. Interesting to note that this would be the only time the Bears would achieve victory at Football Park.

3. How many games did the Bears win in 1994?

Answer: 9

It was their most competitive season at that point which doesn't say much for the early years. Perhaps this was due to the massive debt they were working on erasing after the collapse of the Skase empire.

4. Where did the Bears finish in the 1996 Lightning Premiership?

Answer: Runner Up

They were beaten by Essendon in the final at Waverley. This was the last time a lightning premiership was played at AFL level.

A huge win over Carlton in the 1996 Finals Series. Payback for many slaughterings of the past and one of the Bears' biggest ever wins.
