Answer: Ben Ferreira

Ferreria was enthralled by the way that Browning was nailing those triple triple combinations. So much so, that he decided to join the Royal Glenora Skating Club, of which Kurt was a member! Within four years of learning to skate he won a bronze medal at the Nationals in 1995!
2. Which of these female skaters from Quebec almost missed out on her World Championship debut in 2001, because an accident at work injured her right foot?

Answer: Annie Bellemare

While working at Patinage Plus, a skating boutique that Annie and her mother run, a 500 pound stack of wood fell on her right foot! She thought that it was broken, but it wasn't, and a few days later she was back on the ice to tackle an even bigger obstacle: her nerves.

David Pelletier was a singles and pairs skater during his early years, but subsequently teaamed up with Jaime Sale. Not only did they won Natioanls, Worlds and the Olympics, but they were the biggest news of February 2002 with the Olympic scandal! Sale and Pelletier were the victims of a scandal in which the imperfect Russian pair on Bereznaya and Shikurulidze were placed ahead of their flawless performance.

In the summer of 2002 the coaches of Marie France Dubrueil and Patrice Lauzon, Sylvie Fullum and François Vallée, retired very suddenly. The couple, on and off, the ice was forced to move and felt most comfortable somewhere in which they were fluent with the language.

The two skaters and their two dogs moved to France to train with Murielle Boucher-Zazoui and started from scratch to create some of their best work yet!
