4. Who did the Crusaders play and beat in the semi-final?

Answer: Hurricanes

The Crusaders won against the Hurricanes 33-22 in AMI Stadium, Christchurch on the 24th May. It was a moderately exciting game, but it was pretty one-sided in the second half.
5. How many tries did the Western Force score against the Crusaders in Round 4?

Answer: 4

The Crusaders only just beat the Force 29-24. The Force played brilliantly.
6. Dan Carter was ruled out with a badly sprained ankle in the Round 8 game against the Hurricanes.

Answer: False

7. Who was the Crusader's number 12 in the playoffs?

Answer: Tim Bateman

Stephen Brett was number 12 for most of the season, but Robbie Deans decided to put Tim Bateman in for the playoffs (semi-Finals and finals). Casey Laulala was number 13 and Ti'i Paulo was Number 16 (a reserve) for a lot of the season, but was number 2 for the final against the Waratahs, because Corey Flynn had a broken arm.
8. Which Crusaders player got a yellow card in the final?

Answer: Brad Thorn

Brad Thorn got sent to the Sin Bin in the 56th minute for a punch. It wasn't very good, especially because a try was ruled out because of it. The Crusaders still won though.
9. Which player scored a 'Superman' try?

Answer: Andy Ellis

Andy Ellis scored a brilliant try in the game against the Lions, which the Crusaders won 31-6. Andy got a bit frustrated trying to get the ball over the line, so when the ruck was about a metre from the line, he picked up the ball and jumped over the ruck to touch the ball down.

It was named a 'Superman try' because it looked like he was flying. All the incorrect answers were players that scored tries in that game.
10. What was the score of the game against the Sharks?

Answer: 18-10 to the Crusaders

That game was a complete fiasco. It was hailing and players were dropping the ball left, right and everywhere. The Crusaders scored a try in the 75th minute, just because one of the Sharks players dropped the ball.
