1. Which of these players could not be described as a wicket keeper?

Answer: Bob Willis

Alan Knott was one of the best wicketkeepers in the world. He played in 95 test matches, took 250 catches and 7 stumpings. He also scored 4389 runs at an average of 32.75. Bob Taylor was also a fine wicketkeeper, but did not play as many matches as he could have, since he was living in the shadow of Knott. Paul Downton became the wicketkeeper at a later date. Bob Willis was a pace bowler.
2. Which of these players did not play county cricket for Somerset?

Answer: Allan Lamb

Brian Rose was the captain of Somerset. Vic Marks was only the third Somerset born player to play for England. Chris Tavare moved to Somerset from Kent. Allan Lamb played for Northamptonshire.
3. Which of these players did not bat left-handed?

Answer: Derek Underwood

Although Derek Underwood was a left arm bowler, he batted right handed. Conversely, Chris Old batted left-handed and bowled right handed. David Gower was a very successful left-handed batsman, who ended up with a test average of 44.25.
