Answer: Baltimore Orioles

Lou appeared in four games for the Orioles in 1964. He also played for the Indians and Kansas City Royals before "making it big" with the Yankees. He never played for the Athleticsl.
2. With which club did Ozzie Smith begin his MLB career?

Answer: San Diego Padres

The Padres traded "The Wizard of Oz" to the Cardinals in December, 1981, after he spent the 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 seasons on "the coast". He was the padres regular starting shortstop at the Padres for those four seasons but never achieved the visibility he later would in St. Louis.
3. Where did Roger Maris begin his MLB career?

Answer: Cleveland Indians

Coming up through the Indians minor league system, Roger played the entire 1957 and half of the 1958 season with the Tribe before being traded to Kansas City for Vic Power and Woodie Held. He moved on to the Yankees a year later.
4. Where did Sandy Alomar Jr. make his MLB debut?

Answer: San Diego Padres

Sandy is actually the answer to a unique trivia question, "What Rookie of the Year award winner actually made his MLB debut in the other league from which he won ROTY?" He had played few enough games for the National League Padres (one in 1988 and 7 in 1989), that he still qualified as a rookie when he won played with the American League Cleveland team in 1990.

Dodgers, New York Yankees, and California Angels, but the Hoosier was a product of the Cleveland farm system, and went 0-2 for the Tribe in 1963, and 2-9 for the Tribe in 1964 before being traded to the White Sox so the Tribe could get Rocky Colavito back. TSJ - Tommy John Surgery - surgery was performed in 1974 to fix damaged ligament in pitching arm (using tendon from elsewhere in Tommy John's body).

The Canadian Hall of Famer first toed the rubber for the Phillies in 1965, and was traded to the Cubs for Larry Jackson and Bob Buhl the next year. The Chatham, Ontario native had a 19 year major league career, starring in both leagues with the Cubs, Red Sox, and Rangers, after that very brief start with the Phillies.
7. Where did Babe Ruth's major league career begin?

Answer: Boston Red Sox

The Babe was a very accomplished pitcher in Fenway (1914-1919), before becoming known as "The Sultan of Swat", when he became the face of the Yankee franchise in the Big Apple. At the end of his career, he'd completed a full circle, finishing in Boston playing 28 games for the Boston Braves in 1935.

After debuting with the Cubs in 1961, the Base Stealer was traded to the rival Cardinals for pitcher Ernie Broglio in 1964. His Hall of Fame career, and all-time great status with the Cardinals continues to wrankle Cub fans to this day.

He joined the Indians in 1997. Ace of the Cleveland staff, the Tribe sent him to Montreal for prospects Cliff Lee, Grady Sizemore, and Brandon Phillips in 2002. He then played for the White Sox, Angels, Red Sox, Yankees, Athletics, Mets and Braves.

After 8 productive seasons with the Tribe (1993-2000), Manny departed for Fenway via free agency. After seven seasons with the Red Sox, he moved on to the Dodgers, White Sox, and Rays.
