1. What team was Wayne Gretzky playing against when he scored his record breaking 802nd goal?

Answer: Vancouver Canucks

The Great One scored his record-breaking goal on March 23rd, 1994, on Kirk McLean. He ended his career with 1,072 career goals, the most of anyone at the time of his retirement. Not all which were in the NHL.
2. Who were the three teams in the NHL that had won at least three straight Stanley Cups in the 20th Century?

Answer: Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens and NY Islanders

The Canadiens have won three in a row many times, the latest time in the late 1970s when they won four. The Islanders won four straight Cups from 1980-1983, and Toronto won three straight from 1947-1949 and from 1962-1964. Detroit had won the third most Stanley Cups in the century, but never three in a row. Remember the NHL was formed in 1917.
3. Who were the only two teams between 1900-2000 to lose three straight Stanley Cup Finals matchups?

Answer: Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues

For Toronto, it happened from 1938-1940, and for St. Louis it was from 1968-1970.
4. Who won the first Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP?

Answer: Jean Beliveau

Jean Beliveau won it while playing for the Montreal Canadiens in 1965.

Billy Smith acheived the feat on Nov 28th, 1979, versus Colorado. Ron Hextall was the first goaltender to actually shoot a goal in, Martin Brodeur was the first to score two goals, and Evgeni Nabokov achieved the feat in 2002 versus Vancouver.

Not much parody I guess. Between 1942 and 1966 only six teams played and four of them won at least one(New York Rangers and Boston Bruins did not). After expansion in 1967 only six other teams won the Cup Boston 1970, 1972, Philidelphia 1974-1975, NY Islanders 1980-1983, Edmonton 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988 and 1990, Calgary 1989 and Pittsburgh 1991-1992.
8. Who as a player won the most Stanley Cups in the 20th Century?

Answer: Henri Richard

Henri Richard has won the Stanley Cup a record 11 times, that's a lot of rings.
9. There have been mistakes in engraving on the Stanley Cup throughout the years. Whose name was the first ever to be corrected?

Answer: Adam Deadmarsh

When Adam Deadmarsh's name was put on the Stanley Cup, as a member of the Colorado Avalanche, it was spelled D-E-A-D-M-A-R-C-H. When it was noticed the "C" was changed to an "S".
10. In what year did the NHL first start their season in October?

Answer: 1945

The year was 1945 when the NHL started playing there season in October. Before then it started in December.
