Answer: Eddie Collins

Collins did this 3 times. He did it in 1910 and 1913 with the Philadelphia Athletics, and then again in 1917 with the White Sox. Collins appeared in 6 World Series in his career from 1906 to 1928.
2. Who set the Major League record for pitching with 12 different teams throughout his career?

Answer: Mike Morgan

In his 21 season career starting in 1978, Morgan was passed around like the plague. In order of his teams were the Athletics, Yankees, Blue Jays, Mariners, Orioles, Dodgers, Cubs, Cardinals, Reds, Twins, Rangers, and Diamondbacks. He retired with a 140-185 record.
3. Which of the following won back-to-back American League batting titles in the 1950s?

Answer: Ferris Fain

Fain batted .344 and .327 in 1951 and 1952 for the Athletics of Philadelphia. At the end of the 1952 season he was traded to the White Sox. He played only 9 seasons in baseball.
4. Which of the following greats did NOT win 3 season MVP awards?

Answer: Willie Mays

"Say Hey" won two of these pristine awards. He won these in 1954 and 1965. These were only two of many stellar years in his great career.

Answer: Ralph Kiner

Kiner led this from 1946 to 1952 with the Pirates. In only 10 seasons of baseball, he retired with an amazing 369 home runs.
8. Who broke Ty Cobb's streak of nine straight batting titles in 1916?

Answer: Tris Speaker

After playing for 10 years with the Red Sox, Speaker's his first year with Cleveland produced a batting title of .386 in 1916 to beat out Cobb who batted .371 that year. Speaker retired with a .345 career batting average after 22 seasons.
9. Which of the following greats pitched 6 consecutive shutouts in a season?

Answer: Don Drysdale

Drysdale did this in 1968 with the Dodgers. Strangely enough he threw a total of 8 shutouts that year and only ended up with 14 wins and 12 losses. He retired at the end of the following season.
10. Which of the following Cubs players was nicknamed 'Swish'?

Answer: Bill Nicholson

William Beck "Swish" Nicholson played with the Cubs and Philadelphia covering 16 seasons before retiring in 1953. A consistent player, he appeared in one World Series in 1945. He died in 1996 at the age of 81.
