Answer: Vitor Baía

Vitor Baia was Portugal's National Team goal-keeper at age 18. He has done almost all his career in Porto. The two years he played out was in Barcelona (1996/98). Dani (1996) and Porfírio (1996/97) were West Ham players. Boa Morte has already played in Arsenal, Southampton, and Fullham.

Answer: Cristiano Ronaldo

Figo was never in Manchester United, although he stated his sympathy for the English club. Eusébio and Coluna are old Benfica's and Portuguese stars. These oldies were never in Manchester United.

3. Sporting, Benfica, Porto -- Which of these players wore the shirts of these three Portuguese clubs?

Answer: Futre

Futre started in Sporting. In 1987 he won the now-called Champions League with Porto. Later, he played in Benfica, the last portuguese club he represented. Gomes played in Sporting and Porto. He was six times the best goal scorer in Portugal. The well known Portuguese striker Nuno Gomes, added "Gomes" to his name as a tribute to his childhood hero. João Pinto played 8 years in Benfica (he was the captain for many years).

After Euro 2000, he made a move to rivals Sporting, winning the portuguese championship in 2001/02. Jorge Cadete started in Sporting.

In 1992/93 he was the championship best goal scorer with 18 goals. He's a player which Celtic fans will never forget. He was Great-Britan best goal scorer when playing in the Highlands (1996/97).

He played in Benfica too for one season (1999).

Quaresma left Sporting after 2002/03 season and joined Ronaldinho in Barcelona.

Probably the best season ever by Porto. They won the Portuguese Championship and Cup. In Sevilla, names like Deco, Derlei, and Mourinho were solidified in Europe. Mourinho (coach) and Paulo Ferreira (right defender) were elected by the UEFA site as being part of the best 2003 European football team.

Other players like Deco (2nd best midfielder, right behind Zidane) and Ricardo Carvalho (center defender, 3rd behind Nesta and Paolo Maldini) where in evidence too.

Answer: Atletico Madrid

Futre played many years in Atletico Madrid. After finishing his career, he returned to Atletico where he was given a place on the club Direction.

Answer: Paulo Sousa

Paulo Sousa was the first Portuguese player achieving that mark. He won in 1995/96 with Juventus, and in 1996/97 with Dortmund.

Deco scored the winning goal in a friendly match against Brazil that Portugal won 2-1. It was his first game with the Portuguese shirt.
