Answer: Aranycsapat

Literally, "aranycsapat" means gold troop, band, or group. The other three words listed mean gold star (aranycsillag), gold tap (aranycsap), and gold tile (aranycsempe).

Answer: Gusztáv Sebes

Gusztáv Sebes was an inspired and inspiring coach. He created and believed in all that his team could achieve.

Born 2 April 1927, Ferenc Puskás was probably the most gifted footballer ever seen and is still revered and idolised. Having defected to the West in 1956, he was officially fully pardoned by the Hungarian Government in 1993. The Népstádion in Budapest was renamed in his honour in 2002. Diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2000, he died 17 November 2006, and was buried under the dome of St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest in December 2006.

Born 21 September 1929, Sándor Kocsis was diagnosed with leukaemia and stomach cancer and on 22 July 1979, and at age 49, fell from the 4th floor of a hospital in Barcelona in a possible but unproven suicide.

Answer: 1956 Hungarian Uprising

In October 1956, Hungary rose up against the occupying Soviet forces. Thousands fled and defected to the West including many of 'The Golden Team'. Some of those who chose to return were interrogated by the Soviets. When the eyes of the world turned away from Hungary to the Suez Crisis, the Soviets came back and brutally crushed the Uprising with tanks and executed thousands while the world stood by.

In later years, the same thing would happen in Czecholsovakia.
