McCovey played from 1959-1973 with the San Francisco Giants. After a few seasons with the Padres, he came back home for another four seasons in San Francisco, and retired in 1980 after 22 seasons. He retired with 521 home runs.

McGee played 13 seasons with the Cardinals, then short stints with Oakland, San Francisco, and Boston, then four more back in St. Louis. He retired in 1999 at the age of 40.

Nicknamed, 'Pops', Stargell was the father of Pittsburgh. In 1979, he tied with Keith Hernandez for the season MVP, the first time a tie had ever occurred. 1979 was a great year for Willie, as he hit three World Series home runs against Baltimore, batted .400, and won the WS MVP Award. Stargell retired in 1982. He was a 1988 Hall inductee.

The others listed were not born yet. Keeler played for the New York Giants, Brooklyn Grooms/Superbas, then the American League New York Highlanders (later Yankees). He also played for the Baltimore Orioles of the National League. He retired as a Giant. He was one of 10 inductees in 1939, along with the great Lou Gehrig.

Willie was one half of the non-related Davis brothers on the Dodgers, the other being MVP Tommy Davis. 1960 to 1973 saw Willie in the outfield at Dodger Stadium. He then had short stints with the Expos, Cardinals, Padres, Rangers, then retired as an Angel in 1979.
