Bench's career spanned from 1967-1983 all with the Cincinnati Reds and all with the familiar number 5 on his back. Debuting in late 1967, he did not play in enough games to qualify for the ROY and won the award in the following season. Johnny's MVPs came in 1970 and 1972 with the infamous 'Big Red Machine'. Bench had the power for a catcher and led the league in home runs in those two seasons also. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in his first season of eligibility in 1989.

2. This Hall of Fame knuckle ball pitcher wore the number 35 for all his 24-season career. Winning over 300 games, he watched his brother win over 200 also. Who was this 21-season Braves pitcher named Phil?

Nicknamed 'Knucksie', Phil began his career in 1964 in Milwaukee. He made the move to Atlanta with the franchise in 1966. Phil was in the top three twice for the Cy Young Award, and was the runner-up Cy in 1969 to Tom Seaver of the Mets. In 1977, Niekro's knuckleball led the league in strikeouts with 262. Never appearing in a World Series game, Phil retired in 1987 and was inducted into the hall in 1997 with his 318-274 career record.
