In 1926, University finished 4th on the ladder. They beat Glebe in the minor semi final 29-3, but lost to Souths in the final by 11-5. They never made the semis after that, best result besides this was 5th in 1928.
8. What premiership record did University set?

Answer: Most consecutive losses

They lost an incredible 42 matches in a row. In round 1, 1934, they beat Norths 4-3. Then came the drought. Their next win wasn't until round 15 (the last round) of 1936, when they downed St George 13-11. There were a few close calls in this time, going down to Newtown 10-13 (round 5 of 1934) and Canterbury 15-16 (round 17 of 1935).

After that win at the end of 1936, they lost all of their games in 1937, meaning the record could have been a lot bigger!
