Christi, born on July 16, 1929 in New York, was cast as The Scrivener in this episode. He played the character for a total of two episodes of "Batman". He has also guest starred on the TV series' "Mission: Impossible", "The Rockford Files" and "Charlie's Angels".
2. How did Bruce avoid going over the cliff?

Answer: He grabbed hold of a yellow bar

Bruce managed to get out of the ambulance driven by King Tut's men but the gurney which he was on rolled right into an area in which he would go over a cliff. Bruce rolled right past a caution sign and was about to go over the cliff. However, he grabbed hold of a yellow bar and managed to avoid falling down below.
3. King Tut watched the news at the beginning of this episode.

Answer: True

Back at his hideout, King Tut and his cohorts were watching a sporting event on TV but King Tut said he wanted to watch the news to see if they would report anything on Bruce Wayne. He flipped it onto a news station where the broadcaster said there were new developments in Bruce's kidnapping.

They switched to the Gotham City Police Headquarters where Commissioner Gordon and Batman assured the audience that Bruce Wayne was unharmed.
4. Batman mentioned that he would be traveling to which Egyptian city?

Answer: Alexandria

On the news broadcast, Batman mentioned that he would be leaving for Alexandria and Commissioner Gordon said that Alexandria was a district in Washington, D.C. However, Batman corrected him and said he would actually be traveling to Alexandria, Egypt. This was when he stated that his intentions were to conduct research back there to help him combat King Tut.
5. Nefertiti mentioned that King Tut had once taught at what Ivy League campus?

Answer: Yale

After watching the broadcast, King Tut expressed discontentment about not killing Bruce Wayne so Nefertiti spoke to him in an effort to calm him down. She talked to him about the days when he was a professor at Yale but was conked in the head during a student riot. King Tut then signaled for his two men to take Nefertiti to the dungeon since she was upsetting him.
6. Which actor played a newscaster in this episode?

Answer: Olan Soule

Soule, born on February 28th, 1909 in La Harpe, Illinois, was cast as a newsman in this episode. He played the part for just this one episode of "Batman". He has also guest starred on the TV shows "The Beverly Hillbillies", "The Fugitive" and "The Monkees".
7. Who left town in this episode?

Answer: Harriet Cooper

Near the beginning of the episode, Harriet was seen with a suitcase in her hand at Wayne Manor. She mentioned to Alfred that she was heading out of town for a little bit to go to the countryside. Answer: True

Right after Harriet left Wayne Manor, a cop showed up there and mentioned to Alfred that Chief O'Hara had sent him over there to watch out for Bruce Wayne. Alfred brought him into the living room and showed him Bruce sleeping on the couch (in reality, this was a replica of Bruce Wayne).

The cop then knocked Alfred out using some gas, revealing that it was one of King Tut's henchmen in disguise.
9. King Tut had Batman put into what device?

Answer: Pebble torturer

Midway through the episode, King Tut's men grabbed hold of Batman and enclosed him in a device which King Tut called the pebble torturer. The device involved dropping numerous pebbles onto the victim's hide, which would eventually lead to his/her death. Nefertiti was also enclosed in a pebble torturer.
10. In the final scene, King Tut hallucinated by thinking he was at what location?

Answer: School

Batman punched King Tut in the face and this knocked him out cold. King Tut was next seen lying on a couch in Commissioner Gordon's office and he finally awoke. When he awoke, he hallucinated, believing he was back at school and mentioned that he would be late for class.
